NPMA’s 2017 Annual Report: The Future is Bright!

Dear members,

Professional pest control serves a critical role in society. We have a clearly defined vision of every home and business utilizing professional pest control services, and we spent much of the last year building on the foundational plans set forth in our strategic plan.

2017 was a busy year for our industry with significant progress being made. We welcomed more than 425 new member companies to our organization and initiated new programs and committees, including our new Resource Center, Health Insurance Exchange, and the NPMA Strategic Partnership Program.

Our public policy team worked to enact change and preserve our interests on regulation and legislation – both on the Hill and in local municipalities.

In 2017 alone, the number of QualityPro accredited companies grew by 10 percent, bringing the total number of companies recognized for meeting the standards of professionalism to more than 500.

We also continued to get our messages out to the consumer audiences through the work of the Professional Pest Management Alliance. In 2017, we’ve been everywhere – in magazines, newspapers, TV news programs, and across social media. We’ve driven more than 4.5 million consumers to PestWorld.org.

Each of our member companies will soon be receiving a copy of our 2017 Annual Report in the mail, you may also click here to view the digital version. I encourage you to check it out to see all that has been accomplished over the last year. Working in this industry is something we can, and should all be proud of – we could not have achieved all of this without YOU!

Thank you for your support, I truly believe the future is bright and the best is yet to come!

Sincerely,

Dominique Stumpf, CMP, CAE
NPMA Chief Executive Officer
