NYPMA Elects New Officers for 2017-18

Joel Nolasco, ACE became the president of New York Pest Management Association on May 12th at its installation dinner dance. Nolasco is co-owner of NuBorn Pest Control in Mamaroneck, NY.  Prior to becoming president Nolasco served as vice president, secretary and regional director of this association.  Joel is a member of the NPMA P3 Steering Committee. 
 
Other officers elected were Josh Bloom of Standard Pest Management as first vice president; Joel Fain of Dial-A-Bug as second vice president; Bill Clark of Thomas Pest Services as secretary and Sam Soto of First Rate Solutions as treasurer. Bill Minahan of JC Ehrlich is the immediate past president.
 
NYPMA encompasses the entire state of New York and has 12 regional directors who sit on the board. Michael Deutsch, BCE of Arrow Exterminating Company, James Skinner of A&C Pest Management, Victor Bonavita of Battle a Bug represent the Long Island region. Michael Broder of BHP Pest Elimination, Robert Moloney of Tri-State Exterminators and Joseph Sheehan represent the five boroughs of NYC. Jim Horton of Quality Pro Pest and Wildlife Services along with Manny Guzman of Pestrol are in the Westchester, Rockland area.  In the Albany area Chris Regan of Regan Pest Services and David Parkhurst of Orkin serve as directors. In the western part of the state Dale Larnder of Exodus Exterminating and Dean Ballowe of Suburban Pest Control round out the board of directors. Allied directors are Rick Allen of Target and John Hichak, Jr. of Univar.
 
Len Douglen serves as executive director with Harriet Schary as associate director and Ken Healy as membership coordinator.
