Initial Reports of Pyrethroid Draft Ecological Risk Assessment Comment Deadline Extension

Last week, NPMA received initial reports that EPA is indicating that a 60-day extension would be granted for submitting comments regarding the draft human health and ecological risk assessments for the registration review of pyrethroids, which was published in early December. NPMA has been actively engaged in the issue, requesting a 60 day extension to submit comments last month. The amount and complexity of the data included in this publication requires in-depth analysis and thoughtful commentary, which will be possible with an extended comment period. NPMA will be submitting formal comments on behalf of the entire industry before the deadline.
