A local Virginia pawn shop does more than just day to day business for its clients. Petersburg Pawn treats its community like family. 

Over 400 guns from Ohio pawn shops were reported stolen or missing in 2019.

The ATF breaks down all of the missing guns into four categories:

• Burglary-guns that were stolen from a dealer or pawn shop that was broken into while closed.


• Larceny-guns that were taken, usually by shoplifting, while a store is open and no threat was made.


• Robbery-guns that were stolen during a robbery while the store was open and a threat was implied.


• Loss-guns that were found to be missing from either inventory or after an ATF inspection.

In Arizona, home burgularies are most common post-Christmas. Across the country, over 3,000 burglaries are committed daily, according to the FBI’s crime data. In 2018, claims were over $3 billion with the average claim being more than $2,700. 

A change in how credit scores are calculated could lead to higher credit scores. But that doesn't mean Americans have less debt.
