Sheriff Wants Pawn Shops, Gun Stores to Lock Up Guns at Night

After a string of overnight burglaries at gun stores and pawn shops that resulted in the theft of 55 firearms last month, Orange County’s top cop is calling for legislation that would require those businesses to lock up the weapons in safes at night.

Boise Pawnshop Stops Man from Selling Stolen Bicycles

Boise Police arrested a 26-year-old Florida man for possession of stolen bicycles after he tried to pawn them to a local pawnshop. Police say Bradley D. Knirnschild of Kissimmee, FL tried to pawn bicycles that were reported stolen in Washington, California, Nevada, Florida, Colorado, Virginia, and North Carolina.
