This Neo-Deco bronze railing is both functional and a sculptural work of art, marrying design, craftsmanship, and innovation. Natural light from the overhead skylights plays across the 40 LF of custom silicon-bronze turned balusters, bronze-tube escutcheon plates, spherical finials, and elaborate volute. A bespoke wishbone motif is coped into each baluster, and every element was realized through precision design, rolling, casting, machining, and patination.

Fitting the new railing to the existing stair demanded meticulous measuring, templating, and coordination of hundreds of nearly identical parts. Custom jigs ensured consistent sizing and a systematic installation. To maintain a seamless finish, all welds and fasteners are hidden – strategically placed welds and concealed pins at each baluster create an uninterrupted, artful gesture.
