This is one of the most overlooked and incorrectly measured inspections done in years past on stair flights. Failed inspections are becoming more common because inspectors are getting better training on how to properly inspect stair treads and risers. In this webinar, attendees will learn what inspectors are specifically looking for to spot non-compliant tread and riser configurations on stair flights.

Art’s Work Unlimited was contacted by a client who had doors without grilles, and wanted something formal and original. The company worked closely with the client’s designer to come up with the final concept. It features dazzling aluminum sunflowers – all hand repousse – as well as a variety of leaflets and flowerets.
The grilles were hinged for cleaning the glass, and the company took detailed, full size templates to achieve a perfect fit. No castings were used in the project - every piece was hand forged in house.

In August, the U.S. experienced a notable increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), with a 0.6 percent month-over-month rise, marking the highest monthly increase of the year. The primary culprit was skyrocketing gas prices, which reached levels not seen since October and accounted for more than half of the August CPI hike.This comes as 23 percent of small business owners still report inflation as a top concern in August. Department of Labor
The U.S. Department of Labor has unveiled a proposed rule aimed at expanding overtime protections for approximately 3.6 million salaried workers. Under this proposal, most salaried workers earning less than $1,059 per week (approximately $55,000 annually) would be entitled to receive overtime pay. The announcement comes after several months of comprehensive engagement with employers, workers, unions and other stakeholders.
