Carlsen Scholarship

The Carlsen Scholarship is presented to a student enrolled in a field of study such as metal fabrication, welding, metalworking, blacksmithing, finishing, or a comparable field. The award provides $1000 to support a student to attend METALfab.

Todd Kinnikin Scholarship

The Todd Kinnikin Scholarship offers reimbursement of up to $1,500 for registration and expenses to one METALfab recipient each year.

NOMMA members who own or work for metal fabrication companies are eligible.

The NOMMA Top Job Contest is a peer-judged competition created to honor outstanding work. NOMMA members from around the world compete for awards in 17 categories, including forged and non-forged work ranging from gates and stairs to furniture and accessories.

NOMMA compiles entries from all the open categories and gives members an opportunity to review projects in detail both in our printed quarterly magazine and on the NOMMA website. NOMMA members can then judge the entries and select each year's winners.

Voting will be held from January 5 until February 5 in 2026. 

Winners will be announced at the 2026 METALfab Awards Dinner on February 12 in Reno, Nevada. See you there!
