The architect of this project presented a unique challenge for La Forge De Style to overcome:
A 1-inch-thick bronze "screen" door leading into an elevator gallery. The easy thing would have been to waterjet this, but the material and the cost of the waterjet were obstacles. So, La Forge did some tests and came up with a way to silver solder 1/4 × 1 bar stock, clean it, and put on the final finish within the budgeted time! The frame and custom hardware finish it off perfectly.
