Wiemann Metalcraft created both the greenhouse and the shade structure as site specific buildings for a residence, and all the design work was done by the fabricator. Inspiration and creative direction for the design came in part from current architectural and ornamental metal details the owner had elsewhere on their property. Wiemann also took cues from traditional greenhouse architecture. 

One of the many impressive elements of this project is the unique physical capabilities of the two structures. Both are professionally engineered for thermal, wind and seismic movements, right down to the concrete footings. 

Wiemann combined their expert design skills and fabrication prowess to create two truly unique structures that are as technicaly superior as they are lovely.
