This Feature Stair and Ribbon structure serves three floors. The Stairs and Ribbon are cantilevered, self-supported from each landing, and utilize 2” thick x 20” tall helical stringer plates, field welded in place with CJP’s. Stair treads were bent plate pans supported by steel angles.
Also incorporated into the Stair design were vertical steel posts and various horizontal steel members to support the white pre-fab Corian panels. The project included 300 linear feet of glass guardrail, stainless top cap and stainless handrail. All stainless components required a #4 directional brushed finish. Despite the intense amount of work involved, the project still completed ahead of schedule.
