This project was a challenge, particularly because of the short schedule, site conditions, and distance from the shop to the job. The basement was unfinished - to say the least. Rough interior, uneven dimensions, and nearly no part that was plub or square meant for even more custom work, with every door made to a different size.
The doors were designed by the architect with the input of La Forge de Style; they are true divided lights and nearly all the hardware is custom. The project took about 2,300 hours of fabrication, machining and finishing - plus installation time on top. Congratulations to everyone involved in this gorgeous, one-of-a-kind project.
