It's hard to believe, but Repair Days is just under two months away! If you haven't already done so, it is time to mark Repair Days on your calendar! This year's event is September 21 - 24. As the highlight of the weekend, we are honored to welcome David Secrest as the 2017 Master Metalsmith. Secrest, well known for his incorporation of textures and patterns in forged iron, fabricated steel and bronze sculptures and furniture.

Bring in a Repair
Don't worry about a ding! From knife sharpening to cast iron repair, to re-tinning copper pots to jewelry repair, we can fix it all. Every repair helps raise money for Museum programming throughout the year. Repairs may be brought by the Museum Thursday, September 21 through Saturday, September 23.
Volunteer
Volunteers make Repair Days possible! In addition to repair work, volunteers are needed to prepare and serve meals, sell t-shirts, books and memberships, assist with the auction and keep our grounds clean. To register as a volunteer, please fill out this online form or call 901-774-6380.
To be sure that we have enough food and supplies, please register by September 10. Aprons and t-shirts are guaranteed only to volunteers who register before September 1.
Donate to or Attend the Auction
In addition to repair revenue, the silent and live auctions help raise funds for Museum programming. This is your chance to win a one-of-a-kind piece of art while supporting an institution you care about. The auctions are on Saturday, September 23. To donate to the auction, please fill out this online form before the August 11 marketing deadline. To purchase tickets to the dinner and live auction, please visit our website or call 901-774-6380.

Friends of Repair Days help support event costs, which means every dollar raised during the weekend can go to Museum programming. Your gift enables us to feed nearly 200 volunteers and tent volunteer workspaces, among many other things.
