According to the World Health Organization, just a 5 percent reduction in the average speed can diminish the number of fatal crashes by as much as 3 percent. In-vehicle driver safety technology has been successful in helping large fleet and field service organizations to monitor and manage driver behavior, and subsequently reduce accident rates, vehicle downtime and prevent lost productivity due to road incidents.
