No matter the type of project, augmented reality can help

Contractors use augmented reality (AR) in a number of ways on a variety of projects to show clients a space, resolve clashes and understand how much work has been finished.

Equipment – both owned and rented – may not be as large of an expense as labor or materials, but is nonetheless a strategic variable in a construction business. Utilization of earthmoving equipment, aerial platforms, tools and a wide range of other equipment can be a barometer of overall project efficiency.

 

The EEOC has released COVID-19 vaccination-related guidance, including critical information about legal concerns employers should know if they choose to mandate vaccinations for employees. The guidance can be found in the EEOC’s existing resource on COVID: What You Should Know About COVID-19 and the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and Other EEO Laws. AGC does not support government mandates for construction firms to require employee vaccinations. Rather, the association supports construction firms’ ability to freely choose the best approach for their individual businesses as well as their employees.
