Searching for a Word on a Web Page

To avoid doing a Google search for specific words and winding up at a page full of them, there is a way to search a Web page more efficiently.

For example, if interested in researching obscure laws on the books in Virginia, or more specifically in Arlington, Va., start by doing a search using Google.

The search might lead to this website: www.crazylaws.com. But the page is huge and it lists laws from every state. In this case, all that was wanted were laws in Arlington, Va.

To search a large page for specific words or phrases, follow these steps
1) Go to "Edit" on the menu bar and select "Find (On this Page)" from the list
2) Type the sought-after words in the "Find what" box and click "Find Next"
3) From there, you’ll be sent to the exact place where the word appears
