How to Keep Your Supervisors in the Field and Out of the Trailer

AGC Technology Showcase
Jobsite Tools: Keeping Supervisors in the Field, Not in the Trailer
Tuesday, March 4, 2014
1:30 - 3 p.m.
Tower Ballroom 5

Where are your supervisors? Are they in the field supervising craftsmen or equipment operators? Or are they in the office trailer reviewing drawings, writing RFIs, sending an email/fax or something else that’s keeping them out of the field? Have you recognized that this costs time, money and efficiency? Have you done something about it?

The Technology Showcase will feature presentations from two AGC contractor members who struggled with the same questions and came up with solutions to address the issues. They will discuss the tools they have implemented that allow their supervisors to stay in the field managing people. They will share implementation plans, pitfalls, failures and successes along with any electronic tools (laptop, tablet, smartphone) and software they utilized.
