Wireless Routers

Q: I currently have 3 or 4 wireless routers in my offices to give signal between connecting buildings, so I’m supporting 4 routers pushing different signals with the same passcode. I want one solution. Has anyone implemented a router/repeater system that works and is stable?

We use Meraki wireless. Awesome solution, completely cloud managed and no hardware (other than the WAP) is needed on-site. You can set up bridges and VPN tunnels as well. Works great indoors. Not sure about between buildings.

A: I am using an Apple Airport extreme with two Airport Express modules connected wirelessly. Has worked well in my 10,000-sf building. Easy wireless setup using iOS device including iPhone. I have not tried to bridge between buildings.

A: http://meraki.com. I just deployed this solution in our new prefab shop, 77000 sf.  Easy POE deployment.  They basically just need an internet connection and you can configure the rest in the "cloud."  Downside? A little pricey, but out of two other solutions I used, it has the best signal strength. No crashes yet.

A: I just finished a roll out of HP WAPs... with one controller back at corporate (which feeds all internet to all offices). After getting past a basic networking issue, all working well. Great coverage, pretty affordable, very expandable.
