Strong IT Knowledge Drives Excellent Business Decisions

2013 AGC IT Forum Conference
August 14-15, 2013

Please join us in Chicago on August 14 and 15, 2013 for the 5th annual AGC IT Forum Conference where great peer-to-peer collaboration and networking are central! This year our theme is Strong IT Knowledge Driving Excellent Business Decisions.

With this theme in mind, we’re working on an agenda full of the things that will increase your IT knowledge and help you to make those excellent business decisions.

Conference Keynote
Deloitte Director Damian Walch will deliver the keynote on Cybersecurity.
Businesses are highly reliant on information technology in the delivery of services and products to end-users, customers, and business partners. It is imperative that technology solutions are designed to deliver highly available, highly reliable business services with the appropriate controls in order to meet our service commitments to customer and business partners. The recently passed Executive Order on Cybersecurity (Executive Order 13636) attempts to enhance security and resiliency of CI through voluntary, collaborative efforts.
This presentation will provide insight into how an organization can become more adaptive to changes in the threat landscape by maintaining awareness of the security state of information systems on an ongoing basis. Monitoring processes is important to planning for attack response and mitigating business impact.
Conference sessions include:
  • Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity
  • Mobile Devices: Construction In A Post PC World
  • Interoperability in the Construction Industry: The Road Ahead
  • Game Changing Technology Trends in Construction IT
  • And more!

Bookmark this site and check back regularly for more information as our conference planning progresses.
