9:00 - 10:15 a.m.
Sponsored by AGC’s Occupational Divisions and Councils

Avoiding the pitfalls of regulatory restrictions in the construction industry is important to the success of your business. However, regulations can be challenging to understand, poorly advertised and implemented without enough understanding of the industry. Often regulations are implemented and a business owner won’t learn about them until they are audited. Failure to comply can cost you hundreds if not millions of dollars in fines; the kind of fines that can force you to shut your doors and send your company into bankruptcy.

This town hall style meeting will be centered around the regulatory changes that are taking place in the construction industry and how you can protect yourself. "What you don’t know can indeed hurt you and your business". The meeting will allow members to share real life experiences of handling regulatory pitfalls that occurred because they were unaware of construction regulations. This session is hosted and moderated by the Occupational Divisions in order to represent all areas of construction.
