Linbeck Group Completes Houston Methodist Cypress Emergency Care Center, Begins Fifth Prototype Design Project

Linbeck Group, a Texas-based, technology-driven building construction firm, announces its completion of Houston Methodist Cypress Emergency Care Center on the Northwest corner of Highway 290 and Fairfield Creek Drive. New construction is also underway on the $9.6 million Houston Methodist Spring Emergency Care Center located at 5303 FM 2920 in Spring.

The Houston Methodist Spring Emergency Care Center, expected to open in Spring 2016, marks the fifth stand-alone emergency care center development project for Linbeck. In addition to the facilities in Cypress and Spring, Linbeck also constructed the Houston Methodist Emergency Care Centers located in Pearland, Sienna Plantation and Cinco Ranch.

The freestanding, full-service emergency care facilities follow a prototype design, which ensures consistency while reducing development and construction time. Boasting 9,600 square feet, each center is fitted with 10 exam rooms, triage and associated support spaces. Significant offerings include digital radiology with low radiation doses, ultra-sounds, lab and pharmaceutical companies on site.

The "Houston Methodist" brand design features include a gabled entry atrium and warm, inviting materials. In addition, patients can rely on safe, quality, emergency care close to home thanks to free, convenient parking and an easily accessible front entrance. Both the Houston Methodist Cypress Emergency Care Center and the Houston Methodist Spring Emergency Care Center are departments of Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
