Turner Construction Company Executives Volunteer at the Atlanta Community Food Bank

The Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) received a facelift earlier this year when executives from Turner Construction Company, a member of multiple AGC chapters, converged on the ACFB to make a difference. The 115 executives from around the world were in Atlanta for their annual meeting. While visiting, they gave back and worked on Feb. 3 to paint offices, set handrails, and work in the community garden. The volunteers also stocked shelves and packaged food for delivery. The employees packaged a total of 42,752 pounds of food equaling 34,000 meals.

Over the past several months, employees from Turner Construction have been working at the ACFB to complete several projects including:

Rebuilt the conference rooms
Installed new windows
Fixed leaks in administrative offices
Poured concrete for new stairs in the warehouse
