Abstract Construction, a Dallas-based, full-service general contractor and TEXO member, announced today the launch of ‘40 Acts of Kindness,’ a campaign to give back to surrounding communities in celebration of its 40th anniversary. The 40 Acts campaign will run through the summer and culminate with a community-wide event in late October.

Abstract is soliciting ideas for Acts of kindness from anyone in Dallas. Ideas can be submitted online by visiting Abstract40.com, posting to Abstract Facebook page or telling an Abstract employee. No Act is too large or small and all suggestions are welcome. The company will divide into four teams and Acts will be randomly assigned to each team so that every team member will have the opportunity to perform a variety of large, small, random and suggested Acts.

"After 40 years of working with such incredible Dallas partners, we wanted to find a way to thank the communities that have been such a large part of our success," said Brady Lowry, president, Abstract Construction. "The 40 Acts of Kindness campaign holds true to our values as a company and demonstrates the dedication our employees have to the larger community. We are excited to invite those in the Dallas metroplex to provide us with ideas of how we can give back and to what charities."

Abstract was founded in 1974 by James Turner with the intentions of making significant contributions to the construction industry, in addition to the local communities where Abstract employees live and work. The 40 Acts campaign will integrate this mission to include a combination of volunteering activities, random Acts of kindness by employees and selected submissions from the community.

"For 40 years, I have watched Abstract grow to be more than just a general contracting business, but a place where kind, trustworthy and compassionate individuals come together for a common good," said James Turner, founder of Abstract Construction. "I could not be any prouder of the employees and can’t wait to see the suggestions from the community."

Abstract Construction endeavors to set itself apart by hiring the most experienced, honest and loyal individuals in the commercial construction business. Team members are experts in numerous fields including corporate remodels, building rebranding, health care and industrial spaces. Each team member will be an integral part of the 40 Acts campaign.
