Eight Hands-On Training programs, most including live fire evolutions, will be held during FIRE 2021 in Syracuse. This year, training will be conducted Thursday through Saturday to allow more students to participate. Courses include Advanced Vehicle Extrication, Aggressive Interior Fire Attack, Fire Behavior On the Inside, First-In Officers’ Responsibilities, Hoarder Fires, Truck Company Essentials: The Tasks That Must Get Done, and Truck Company: Saw Work and Roof Ops.

NYSAFC Regional Hands-On Training programs are currently scheduled for 12 sites across New York state. View the training calendar to find a program near you. "Fire Behavior On the Inside," "Flashover," and "Beyond the Basics" programs are now being booked into 2022.
