Chairman Art Hunsinger of the NYSAFC Public Relations Committee has produced a video for fire departments to use as a new tool in recruitment and retention outreach efforts. “Firefighters, Help Wanted… Volunteers Needed” emphasizes that there is a job for EVERYONE in the emergency services, no matter what you do in life. By showing how many New Yorkers are helping their neighbors through various roles in the fire service, the video encourages others to join their local volunteer fire departments to serve their communities. Fire departments can share the video on social media and at community meetings and events.
