Captain Douglas J. Mitchell Jr. (FDNY) will deliver the NYSAFC 117th Annual Conference & FIRE 2023 Expo Keynote Address – "Evolution You: Mission, Motivation, and Mindset." The presentation will take place on June 15 at The Oncenter in Syracuse, NY and is open to all attendees. Special thanks to our keynote sponsor, VFIS.
 
The event will be held May 5-7, 2023, at the New York State Academy of Fire Science, hosted by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention & Control and NYSAFC. Program highlights include the Keynote Address, “Steps to Safety™ – Prevent Fire and Falls at Home," by Andrea Vastis (NFPA).
 
April 1, 2023, is the deadline to submit applications and nomination forms for the NYSAFC Scholarship Program, Chief Neil McNeight Hands-On Training Award, Chief Fred Singer Fire Educator of the Year Award, James Wright Public Education Award, and New York State Fire Chief of the Year Awards.
