Registration Now Open for the NYSAFC FIRE 2016 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Show others that you will never forget the 343 members of FDNY who bravely gave their lives on September 11, 2001. Join NYSAFC and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation for the FIRE 2016 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY.

Check-in and on-site registration (space permitting) begins at 7:00 a.m. in the Oak Room and the climb begins at the tower hotel at 8:00 a.m. Registration is open to all FIRE 2016 attendees and the public. This event is limited to 100 climbers, so advance registration is recommended.

For 2016, there are many ways to lend your support!

Climber: For a $35 fee, you can register to climb the Turning Stone Resort tower hotel stairwell multiple times for a total of 110 stories, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers. Each climber will receive a keepsake memorial ID card honoring a hero lost on 9/11 and a commemorative t-shirt.

Virtual Climber:
For a $25 fee, you can register to support the climb without actually climbing. There’s a separate box to check on the registration page. These climbers will
receive a keepsake memorial ID card.

Teams:
People can team up to "split" the climb. Teams can consist of two or more people. Team members can climb 55 stories each, 10 stories each, etc. Each team member pays the full $35 and gets a memorial ID card and t-shirt. The first team member to register must sign up as the "Team Captain."

Donors:
People can go to the event registration page under "Donate" and simply donate any amount to support the NYSAFC climb.

All proceeds from our climb will benefit the FDNY Counseling Unit and the NFFF to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters.
