International Journal of Paramedicine Launches
After years of planning, the International Journal of Paramedicine (IJOP) officially launched in November 2022. IJOP is a free, open access publication, viewable here. It will feature state-of-the-art research on patient care and the field of paramedicine. Topics will include leadership, management, education, operations, culture, and professional practice.

Ebola Returns
The New York State Department of Health has recommended hospitals and health care providers increase vigilance for potential Ebola cases after a large outbreak in West Africa. A listing of the events, hazards, recommendations, and tools for EMS providers and fire departments is available through NETEC, the national center created for health care providers and emergency responders for education and training on management of infectious diseases.
