NYSAFC Member Honored for 50 Years of Service

On April 9, 2022, the District 3 Fire Department of the Town of Plattsburgh held its 50th Anniversary Banquet. District 3 Past Chief/NYSAFC 2nd Vice President Scott Ewing, Clinton County Director of Emergency Services/Fire Coordinator Eric Day (NYSAFC Volunteer Chiefs Committee), and Deputy Chief Greg Burnell (NYSAFC Conference Committee) presented seven 50 years of service citations to charter members of the department, as well as a citation to the organization recognizing its 50 years of distinguished service protecting the citizens of the community in Clinton County. NYSAFC member and current District 3 Board of Fire Commissioners Chairman Dennis Burnell was among the charter members honored.
