COVID Vaccination of EMS Providers
New York State began vaccinating EMS providers on December 23rd. Initially, vaccines were all being provided by hospitals, but that is expected to extend to other points of distribution moving forward. The Bureau of EMS Policy Statement #20-08 provides guidance on EMS provider vaccination. EMS agencies are directly notified by the State Bureau of EMS and regional program agencies as to where members can be vaccinated. Download Policy Statement #20-08 here.

Washington Update Delivers National EMS News
The National Association of State EMS Officials publishes a bi-monthly electronic newsletter summarizing EMS items of interest across the United States. You can view individual issues or sign up for a list server subscription here. This is an excellent way to stay on top of EMS happenings at the federal level and in neighboring states.
