 New York State EMS System Explained

Ambulance Cost Reporting Schedule Released
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its final rule on Ambulance Cost Reporting. Starting next year (2020), one quarter of all ambulance services will be selected each year to provide cost data to CMS. These data will be used to revise Medicare rates to more accurately reimburse for ambulance services. The final rule, cost reporting forms, and ambulance services selected to report during 2020 are posted here.
