CMS Announces New Ambulance Reimbursement Model
The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services announced the rollout of an “Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport Model” or ET3 program to test reimbursing EMS agencies through the Medicare Fee-For-Service payment system for beneficiaries who are treated but not transported.
