The New York State Department of Health Bureau of EMS and Trauma has a Facebook group. It's part of an effort to share information and connect with EMS providers across the state. Search for New York State Health Department EMS Community to join the page and get yourself in the know on DOH activities and news. The Bureau plans to launch a newsletter summarizing State EMS Council meetings and will distribute it through the Facebook group. 
 
Resources for Fourth Generation Nerve Agent Response
After the incidents in the United Kingdom in 2018 involving a fourth generation nerve agent, the White House National Security Council convened a federal interagency working group to identify and develop resources to help the emergency response community prepare for and respond to a fourth generation agent incident if one ever occurs in the United States. On January 24, the Chemical Hazards Emergency Medical Management (CHEMM) website was updated with multiple resources for emergency responders.
