CPR Instruction Required in New York High Schools

The New York State Board of Regents adopted a requirement that all senior high schools offer instruction in CPR and AED use, effective October 7, 2015. There is no mandate that students be certified or taught by a certified instructor, only that high schools provide hands-only CPR and AED training to all students. The full text of the Regents directive can be downloaded here.
