You’ve heard rumblings that Spinal Immobilization Protocols may change in New York.

Two years ago, the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) and American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT) published a position paper on spinal precautions and long backboards. This is a great read that has started to affect field practice across the United States and will someday come to New York state.
