In an effort to provide education benefits to all the men and women who are employed or volunteer for departments defined by the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, we are pleased to announce a special partnership with Marist College that will offer our employees and their families a significant tuition discount on Marist’s graduate and adult undergraduate degree programs.

This partnership will offer all members the opportunity to receive their MPA (master of public administration) for just $333 a credit. Members as well as their families can also take advantage of a 25% discount on all other non-discounted full time or part time graduate and adult undergraduate studies online or on campus. The applicant being an employee or family member must be 22 years of age or older and must submit proof of membership as part of the application process.

Marist's MPA program is especially relevant for health care, criminal justice, and human service professionals, as well as those interested in public sector and non-profit administration. In addition, Marist offers 50 undergraduate degrees, four bachelor degree completion programs, seven pre-professional programs, five undergraduate certificate programs, and 12 graduate degree programs, six of which can be completed online. Marist College was the first college in New York state to gain approval to offer its entire MBA and MPA programs online.

As partners in education, NYSAFC and Marist College encourage you to take part in this incredible opportunity. Advance your career and your future with a Marist education.  Please visit the Marist website for more information and a detailed list of programs.

These reduced tuition rates are not retroactive and cannot be paired with any other Marist College discounts or scholarships. Books, travel, and all related expenses are the responsibility of the student. Final determination of eligibility is made by Marist College.

For further information or inquiries concerning the application process, please contact the Office of Graduate and Adult Enrollment at adulted@marist.edu or (888) 877-7900.
