NYS Debuts Revised EMS Educational Standards

The Bureau of EMS announced that revised federal EMS Educational Standards will be phased in beginning with the December, 2012, EMT and EMR (formerly called CFR) exams. Refresher students, including those in continuing education recertification programs, will be required to complete a transition program on the new material.
