Congratulations to the 2020 class of NE/SAE's Emerging Leaders Program!

Over the past nine months, the Emerging Leaders participated in a series of curated educational sessions designed to meet their career needs as young professionals or new association professionals. Focus areas included association structure and sustainability, innovation, managing up and down, social identities in the workplace, and developing an association career roadmap.

The Emerging Leaders also participated in the general programming at our 2019 Digital Solutions Conference, 2020 Conference for Association Education, and our 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting.

Participants were selected based on nominations from their CEOs, Executive Directors, or supervisors last summer. Their involvement in the program represents their commitment to both advancing their careers in association management and having a positive impact on the associations they serve.

We look forward to the continued engagement of our Emerging Leaders in the NE/SAE community for many years to come. Please join us in congratulating the wonderful class of 2020!

Each year since 2013, NE/SAE has recognized an exceptional rising association professional with the Rising Star Award. Nominees for this award must show exceptional promise, dedication, and accomplishment in the association industry.

Congratulations to this year's Rising Star Award winner, Kathryn Magnoli, MBA, Chief of Staff at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.

In addition to her dedication to the association industry, Kathryn is applauded for her business acumen, communications skills, commitment to her association's mission, and fortitude and leadership during the COVID-19 crisis.

Kathryn was recognized during the business meeting at NE/SAE's Annual Meeting, held virtually on Thursday, June 4.

Information about the nominations process for the 2021 Rising Star Award will be available in early 2021.
