There's a lot of great things happening at NE/SAE! Our volunteers are working with our staff on a number of exciting initatives, in addition to continuing to offer the great educational and networking opportunities we're known for. Read more below, and let us know if you want to get more involved with NE/SAE!

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force has began the important work of identifying clear and unambiguous policies addressing diversity, equity, inclusion, and the values NE/SAE embraces. The task force will be developing an action plan to ensure that NE/SAE adheres to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We look forward to sharing more about this important work in the coming months.

Education Committee

The Education Committee has been working hard to move our 2020 Digital Solutions Conference (October) and 2021 Conference for Association Education (January) to virtual formats. Although we can't be togetehr in-person, the virtual conferences will give attendees the opportunity to access our educational sessions both live and on-demand. Registration is open for October's conference, and we'll be announcing our January lineup soon!

Member Value Committee

The Member Value Committee is developing a new awards and recognition program, to help NE/SAE recognize the phenomenal work of associations and industry partners from throughout New England. Watch for details in early 2021!

Other Initatives

NE/SAE is also launching two new task forces this fall. Our Leadership Development Task Force will be examining NE/SAE's processes for identifying and assessing candidates for key volunteer leadership roles with NE/SAE. And, our New England Recruitment Task Force will help NE/SAE identify ways to engage and recruit members from throughout New England.
