Mary Alexander recently celebrated her 20th anniversary as CEO of Infusion Nurses Society (INS). A former board member of NE/SAE, Mary has also been a member for 20 years. In addition to her role as INS CEO, Mary also serves as editor of the Journal of Infusion Nursing, the official journal of INS. In recognition of her milestone achievement, the INS team, past INS presidents, and Mary's family surprised her with a special video tribute at INS’ Annual Meeting held in May. Congratulations Mary!

Joseph James Bevilacqua, President of Merrimack Valley Chamber, was honored with United States Small Business Administration District Director’s Award.

Kim Ehrhardt has joined the team at Global Cynergies as National Account Manager, where she researches and presents hotels and venues to her clients for their meetings and conferences anywhere in the world.

As of April 24, 2017, Sarah Elise Klingler has accepted a new position and promotion to Director of Programs & Services at the Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA). As a participant in the first NE/SAE Rising Professionals Program she is grateful for the many connections and opportunities NE/SAE’s network provides.

Association management and consulting firm The Markens Group, Inc. (TMG) has announced its newest full-service client, the American College of Governance Counsel (ACGC). Under this arrangement, TMG will manage ACGC’s day-to-day operations, and the association’s headquarters will be re-established in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Sebasco Harbor Resort, announced the promotion of Melissa Morbillo, Director of Sales & Catering, to Resort Manager. Melissa will oversee all facets of the resort operations including lodging, golf, spa, restaurants, group sales, catering and other amenities of this historic 88-year-old property.

Melissa joined Sebasco Harbor Resort in 2008 as the Director of Restaurants and has been in her role of Director of Sales & Catering for the past eight years. Melissa has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and her past responsibilities have included both innkeeper and food & beverage/culinary management.

The North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce announced that it has been named a finalist for the prestigious 2017 Chamber of the Year award, presented by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). The announcement was made to a sold out audience of over 400 business leaders and Governor Charlie Baker at the Annual Business Meeting of the Chamber. The North Central Massachusetts Chamber is one of only three finalists – along with chambers in Paducah, KY, and Kalispell, MT – in its category. It is also the first chamber of commerce from Massachusetts to have ever been selected as a finalist.

Gary S. Thulander, President and General Manager of the Woodstock Inn & Resort, announced the appointment of Matthew F. Closter as Director of Golf at the Woodstock Country Club.
