Volunteers Wanted

The Joint NENA/APCO TERT (Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce) Working Group seeks volunteers in the General Interest and Producer categories.  Producers develop and/or provide 9-1-1 related products and services and General Interest members are those who do not fit into the User or Producer interest category, such as consultants or those who are part of state or federal agencies.

The Working Group meets on Thursdays from 11AM to 12PM Eastern.

Click here to volunteer. You can contact WG Co-Chairs, Rebecca Conners and Jennifer Arnold with any additional questions.

NENA seeks volunteers to help develop administrative, technical, and operational standards for PSAPs/ECCs seeking to deploy or otherwise implement Incident Related Imagery (IRI) technology. The intended deliverable is an ANSI-approved standard.

The IRI WG seeks representation from User, Producer, and General Interest categories with experience in the public-facing and private-sector sides of the emergency-communications industry. Working Group efforts will be solution agnostic, not favoring or promoting any one platform or technology. PSAP/ECC representation is welcomed and encouraged from all levels, especially from frontline personnel currently working with, or who anticipate working with, IRI technology.

Meetings will be held the second Wednesday of every month from 3PM to 4PM Eastern, beginning on 01.10.24.

Achieve Public Safety Grade GIS Data
GeoComm®
Our recommended steps involve assessing, improving, maintaining, and sharing your GIS data to fulfill its mission critical role in current and future 9-1-1 systems. These steps are also important in enabling 9-1-1 calls to spatially route to the appropriate Emergency Communications Center (ECC) in a NG9-1-1 environment.
