NENA: The 9-1-1 Association’s Board of Directors has appointed Jason Lezcano, ENP, Director of Communications for Somerset County, NJ, as the association’s Northeastern Region Director. In this role, he will represent members across the region and work with the Board to advance NENA’s strategic vision and priorities for strengthening 9-1-1. He will complete the remainder of the current term, which runs through June 2027.
Lezcano is a seasoned public safety leader with more than 20 years of operational, managerial, and strategic experience spanning emergency communications, fire services, and incident management. In his role at Somerset County, he oversees countywide 9-1-1 operations, policy development, and critical infrastructure initiatives. In addition to his county leadership role, he serves as Chief of the Denville Fire Department, where he is responsible for incident command, training oversight, and long-term organizational planning.
