Latest State 9-1-1 Data Reveals DoD PSAP Data, NG9-1-1 Progress, & Increased ESInet Implementation Across the Country

A report released recently by the National 911 Program – compiled through voluntary submission of 56 data elements – provides the most complete and current information about the nation's 9-1-1 systems.

The National 911 Annual Report: 2020 Data reveals findings and analysis of 9-1-1 data from the 2020 calendar year. A variety of information – from the increase in nationwide ESInet implementation to PSAP size to the use of Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) protocols – is detailed in the report.

The data collected helps to characterize a state’s 9-1-1 operations, protocols and progress toward Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) implementation. New this year is data submitted by the U.S. Department of Defense about domestic PSAPs and those operating overseas.
