NENA Seeks Co-Chair for Communications Committee

NENA seeks a co-chair for the NENA Development Group's (NDG) Communications Committee. The preferred applicant should have a background in 9-1-1 public education, communications, and/or marketing and must be able to meet the commitments outlined here. The Communications Committee’s principal objective is to develop consistent materials and messages as an informational resource for the emergency communications community.
Committee Co-Chairs are responsible for appointing Working Group (WG) Co-Chairs, and other subject matter experts as appropriate, with the approval of the DSC Co-Chairs; preside over their respective Committee; and coordinate team efforts to include the responsibilities outlined here.
Committee Co-Chairs are expected to attend DSC meetings (weekly on Tuesday's 1:00 PM ET or as scheduled) and vote as a member of the DSC on matters that come before it.
