This past Friday, February 16, marked the fiftieth anniversary of the first ever 9-1-1 call. The occasion was celebrated with commemorations from the White House, national and local media outlets (NPR, USA Today, WaPo, NBC 4 DC, AL.com, Lifezette) and, of course, NENA itself.
We even got a few of our famous friends from Congress, NBC's Chicago Fire, and Fox's 9-1-1 to help us out. Check out the playlist of our shout out vids here or by clicking below.
Even though the literal anniversary has passed, there are still opportunities to celebrate 2018 as the fiftieth anniversary year for another nine months!
