The new NG9‑1‑1 Security Information Document provides detail of the mechanisms and best practices relative to security of the i3 system and describes procedures and best practices on how to deploy security for the system. It is intended as a companion to the Detailed Functional and Interface Specification for the NENA i3 Solution. Users should also refer to the Security for Next Generation 9-1-1 Standard and the Next Generation 9-1-1 Security Audit Checklist Information Document.
