NENA's Roger Hixson Honored With NPSTC Lifetime Achievement Award

From the NPSTC announcement: Roger has devoted more than three decades to advancing 9-1-1 services, both in the private sector and with NENA. Since the inception of Next Generation 9-1-1 in 2003, Roger has championed the development of the standards essential to the system’s success. Thanks largely to Roger’s stewardship, NENA's NG9-1-1 standards work is recognized and utilized not just in the United States, but around the world. His tireless efforts, expertise, and leadership have proved invaluable in more efforts than can be counted, and 9-1-1 is better off for having him as an ally and an advocate.
