Message from President

The NEHES Board of Directors held a virtual Strategic Planning Retreat. While we all would have preferred to be in person, we were able to focus on the items which will be critical for NEHES going forward. As always, outstanding education programs will be a key item for 2021: Engaging the chapters and growing NEHES Membership.
Membership

Hello everyone, and happy November. I speak for all of our student members when I say I hope everyone is doing well, staying safe, and staying involved. With the new academic year still settling in, we are prepared for the dramatic changes that have been made in our education system. While many can agree this new world is not the ideal learning environment, I can assure you that we will adapt and carry on stronger than ever. I would like to take this opportunity to reach out and ask for your assistance. Our student chapters are always looking for ways to expand their understanding of this amazing field. Given the pandemic, this is the perfect opportunity to share knowledge virtually. There will always been a demand for volunteers who are willing to give a presentation to our students about their given field of expertise. If you or a colleague would be willing to help our chapters learn and grow to be future healthcare engineers, please reach out to me at any time vie email (michaelkilbrideiii@gmail.com) so we can put something together during the academic year. Your time and knowledge will be greatly appreciated by all. As always, we would like to personally thank NEHES for their continued support to our committee. Thank you all and please stay safe.
