Spotlight on NEHES Member Scholarships: Supporting Professional Growth and Community

NEHES is proud to support the professional development of healthcare facility leaders across New England through the NEHES Member Scholarship Program. Each year, scholarships help members advance their education, expand their networks, and participate in valuable industry events that strengthen both individual careers and the healthcare engineering community.

This fall, Raymond Gorski, a dedicated NEHES member from Connecticut, was awarded a scholarship to attend the 2025 NEHES Fall Conference. His experience underscores the true impact of this program.

In a note of appreciation to NEHES, Raymond shared:

“I don't know how I would have been able to continue my growth/education in healthcare without the NEHES scholarships. It has been a huge part of obtaining the knowledge and experience I need to perform my job and has also provided an opportunity to network with other healthcare professionals and vendors.”

Raymond noted that the Fall Conference delivered exceptional value, both personally and professionally:

“The educational courses that were available were very informative and more than met my expectations. The venue was great and for me and some of my colleagues it was close to home.  I'm looking forward to the NEHES Spring Seminar and the 2026 NEHES Fall Conference that is being held in Connecticut.

Raymond's continued engagement with NEHES and the broader industry is already opening new doors. He shared that he has been invited to speak at an education session during the 2026 ASHE Conference, reflecting his growing expertise and leadership within the field.

“I’m also looking forward to the 2026 ASHE conference where I have already been asked to be a panelist/speaker at one of the education sessions.”
