NFSF Applications Deadline

The deadline for NFSF scholarship application submission is fast approaching!  Applications and all required documents must be submitted to nfsf@nawic.org no later than February 28th.  I am pleased to report that we have received a number of applications to date for both undergraduate and trade/technical school scholarships. We are looking forward to adding to the count between now and the 28th.

The NFSF 2018-2019 Awards Committee/Trustees, Riki Lovejoy, Connie Leopard, Cindy Johnsen and I, will be meeting the end of March to review all applications and make the awards.  All applicants will be notified shortly after that.  Once all the awards have been made and student information verified, the Chapters, Regions, companies and outside organizations with scholarship funds administered through NFSF will be provided a list of scholarship recipients.  There will also be a complete list of the 2019 recipients posted on the NFSF page on the NAWIC website.

I would like to thank everyone for supporting NFSF with donations this year.  NFSF is currently administering scholarship funds for about 22 NAWIC Chapters, 3 NAWIC Regions, 1 Company, and 1 Outside Association, in addition to the Foundation’s Funds.

Keep spreading the word that NFSF is ‘expanding the construction industry one student at a time.
